Back With the Jack – rock/rap-parody: a trailer-park party that ran out of Jack Daniel’s

“Back With the Jack” is an original song written and recorded by Rick McCargar and released April 30th, 2014. “Back With the Jack” is a blues-rock rap parody song about a trailer-park party that ran out of Jack Daniels…the horror! Ha. Think of it as the opposite of the videos you’ve seen of parties at wealth rapper’s mansions…

The concept for the video that came to mind while writing the lyrics would be that unlike this being a cool rapper’s party mansion, it would be a bit lower-rent, like a lot lower-rent, the guy is a less than in-shape middle-aged man, the party is in a trailer with pink flamingos and garden gnomes etc. in the front, an above-ground pool, etc., really comical gaudy type people…

The flashy-horn guitar sounds in the solo and later could be the car horn blowing and accent the visual of the guy speeding comically past other cars as he drives to the store for more Jack Daniel’s in an old, rusted out, big-finned Cadillac type of convertible.

Lyrics for: “Back With The Jack”

Drinking, carousing, and carrying on
Lovely ladies dancing on the lawn
Someone’s in my bedroom getting it on
Keep the party burning
When I’m gone

I’ll Be Back!
You Know I’ll Be Back
Back With The Jack!
I’ll Be Back…Back With The Jack

Drinking, cussing, and carrying on
Some guys are fighting, out on the lawn
The ladies in the pool, they’re getting it on
Keep the party burning
When I’m gone

I’ll Be Back!
You Know I’ll Be Back
Back With The Jack!
I’ll Be Back…Back With The Jack

You know what happened when I returned
My tv was missing, the couch overturned
My lady’s passed out flat on her back
I said keep the party burning
Till I Get Back

I came back!
You know I came back
Back With The Jack
I’ll Knock some back with my friend Jack! (boom)
I Came Back…Back With The Jack….hell,..more for me..

I came back
You know I came back
Back with the Jack!

The Beatles – If I Fell – acoustic rhythm guitar lesson

Learn how to play the acoustic rhythm guitar part from the Beatles classic “If I Fell” with video demonstration by Rick McCargar of http://www.guitarlicksandtabs.com

While you may learn the song faster with tab, you learn to play guitar faster if you have to spend a little more time working on getting the right chords by watching and listening, and ultimately, isn’t that the goal?

Last week’s lesson to practice learning by ear was finger-picking Jim Croce’s “These Dreams”, and this week it’s a Beatles classic, “If I Fell”.

On the original, there are two acoustics and one electric, I selected the acoustic that had the extra chords in the intro.

Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy!
