Demo of the electro-harmonix Mel9 tape replay machine guitar pedal

This is a demo of the electro-harmonix Mel 9 (Mellotron style guitar pedal) tape replay machine guitar pedal. I played some finger-picked acoustic through several of the settings including: clarinet, flute, strings, cello and a bonus electric guitar bastardization I call: “Phantom of the Stairway”. Haha. The Rain Song on Martin D12X1AE before and after changing 4 year old strings

In this video, I’m using a 12-string Martin D12X1AE with 4-year-old strings to play Led Zeppelin’s “The Rain Song”, which I learned yesterday for this video, then I put on new strings and tried it again. You be the judge.
