I knew this post was here somewhere because I saw it on my phone. Somewhere I’ve got a setting wrong because I had nigh on 500 emails to get rid of. Another fine lesson and an excelent tone on the tele squire.
Thank you! For an inexpensive guitar, the Squire Thinline Tele is fun to play, and sounds great.
Of course the VG can simulate a Tele at the flick of switch……..(you know, I’m just saying). It can also simulate a Stratocaster which is weird because it is a Stratocaster. Those guys at Fender must have a funny sense of humor.
My strat has a button that allows the bridge and neck pickup to be played together, giving it a tele like sound. Nothing but a couple of extra wires and a button-switch and then – magic. But the button can’t give it the semi-hollow body sound of the thinline tele.
