Short but Cool Dickey Betts and Duane Allman Rhythm Guitar: You Don’t Love Me

This video is a demo of the cool train-like rhythm guitar shuffle from the Allman Brothers “You Don’t Love Me” off the Fillmore Live album. Dickey Betts and Duane Allman were both great rhythm guitarists.

Allman Bros – Stormy Monday – Dickey Betts Guitar Solo with free tablature download

This guitar lesson is how to play the Dickey Betts guitar solo from “Stormy Monday” off the Allman Brothers Band’s Fillmore Live Concert album with free tablature. The song was written and originally recorded by Aaron “T-Bone” Walker.

I’ll next be doing a video on Duane’s solo then one on the chords and riffs from the song.

Dickey and Dan Toler are shown in an after-concert hotel jam playing a bebop song written by Horace Silver called “The Preacher”. They play it in a western swing style that really captures the essence of the original song while including Dickey’s trademark style.
